    Ugh upgrade turned on importing of status updates. What a mess...again. Should be fixed from here on though.

      Just fixed an error in skin permissions that was keeping some people from using the Create skin.

    Mobile apps support for Tapatalk and Forum Runner have been updated. An updated standard mobile skin will be continue to be available for those without the apps.

    Tags are now required when submitting a new thread. This is done in advance of our system updates, which will use the tags system to greater effect for finding similar threads.

      For the most part, minor. There's a lot changing, but most of it is mod level and system level stuff. The amount of code changes mean we lose a few third party addons, but generally things will continue to be about the same in looks and function.

    Server seemed to be acting up today with minor downtimes multiple times. I've rebooted the server, hopefully that clears it up.

      Seems the rebooting was pointless. It's a routing issue from the host. The server is working just fine, it's the network causing a few problems these past few days.

    Server had a bit of a spike earlier causing slow loading pages. Let me know if you are still having any problems, as it should be fixed now.

    Spent the afternoon hitting the malls for after Christmas sales. Sooo many people. I think there were more people shopping after Christmas than before it.

      Doing some other minor clean up around the site too. Reformatted the mobile apps page and fixed a language bit error in similar topics.

      Simple: making it easier for people to share their thoughts. Not everyone wants to bother registering, confirming email etc, just to make a comment.

    Steve Jobs, dead today age 56. Not surprising with his health as it was, but what a shock to the industry this is going to be.
