  1. Yeah, I agrees with you here. Since all the latest changes xbox1 now looks like pretty competetive console rather than just having 'features' which restrict and limit you. However I do think, Microsoft might consider to go with Kinect-off version eventually in the future regarding sales, next gen games, etc. Maybe some light and slim xbox1 or something. My only concern, or even better say wish now is to have new controller available for PC sooner rather than later.
  2. Now this comparison of features looks rather hilarious than few months ago.. Xbox One: Then and Now The Xbox One at this moment pretty much a totally different console to the one Microsoft announced in May. I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if they changed the name next. Does it require an internet connection? THEN: YES. Originally, though Microsoft executives were saying directly contradictory things straight after the announcement, the Xbox One was going to have to connect to the Internet at least once every 24 hours. NOW: NO. The required Internet connection was done away with after E3. Why did it change? Always-online was hugely, hugely unpopular with just about everybody, but especially people without reliable Internet connections and servicemen and women. After E3, where former Xbox boss Dom Mattrick infamously said that people who don’t want to deal with an always-online connection could just buy and Xbox 360, this was completely reversed - ostensibly as a direct reaction to the huge popular backlash against the Xbox One's policies that reverberated through E3. What does it mean? The official line was that the Xbox One needed a constant/near-constant Internet connection to enable games to use the cloud, whatever that actually means. Now that the Internet connection requirement is gone, though, it begs the question: were most Xbox One games really designed around using the cloud, or was the required Internet connection actually there to enforce the console's DRM? Some games will still require a connection, like Titanfall, but we're still not clear on how it will affect other game features like Forza with its Driveatar, if at all. Can I lend my games to friends and family? THEN: YES, through a special friends-and-family sharing scheme that was going to let you share everything with up to ten people. NOW: YES, in the same way as always, by swapping or lending discs, or by a friend playing digital games on your console. Can it play pre-owned games? THEN: Who honestly knows. Yes, said Microsoft, but with all sorts of complicated caveats that restricted how and where and for how much. These caveats were never fully explained. NOW: YES, just like you always could. Will it come with a headset? THEN: NO. But hey, you can always buy a converter for your Xbox 360 one! Or use the Kinect! NOW: YES, okay, fine, now it comes in the box. Will it work without Kinect? THEN: NO. Kinect originally had to be plugged in at all times in order for the console to work. NOW: YES. Now, as of yesterday, Marc Whitten has said that it's not necessary after all - though it still comes in the box. Why did it change? This was the last unpopular feature of the Xbox One for core gamers, but I don't think that's why Microsoft took the decision to change the Kinect requirement. I think it's so that it could offer a lower-price Xbox One bundle at launch that doesn't include it, which would make it competitive price-wise with the PS4. Another very strong possibility is that privacy concerns over the concept of a camera that's always watching you in your living room spooked so many people that Microsoft decided to let people unplug it completely - previously, you could pause it or tell it not to upload data, but it was still a requirement for the console. What does it mean? This is truly a massive deal. Microsoft has made such a song and dance about the new Kinect: how much better it is, how crucial voice and gesture controls are to the new TV functionality, how games will be able to use it in exciting new ways. It must have cost a fortune to develop. If it can be unplugged, that makes it optional - which will severely restrict how developers choose to take advantage of it. The crucial question here is whether Kinect will still automatically come in the box. If so, people won't like spending money on something they won't use, but developers will still be able to make games with the knowledge that every Xbox One owner has one. If not, though, that makes all that investment in the new Kinect a massive waste of time and money. Is it backwards compatible? THEN: NO. It's fundamentally built differently, says Microsoft. NOW: NO. But who knows what's going to change next? It would be great to be able to at least port over your digital library to Xbox One. The end result of all these changes is that the Xbox One is now functionally almost identical to the PS4 in most crucial ways. Both have optional cameras, both support sharing, trading and lending, both take advantage of the Internet but don't require it. Not everybody has been won over by Microsoft's compromises, and the company's evident willingness to completely reverse course on things that were originally slated as vital and unchangeable features of the Xbox One really does raise a lot of these questions, but it's difficult to argue with the fact that all of these changes - except, potentially, the Kinect requirement - are better for customers. source IGN
  3. Latest on Xbox 1 controller PC compatibility Kotaku interview with Microsoft has confirmed the Xbox One controller will work with PC titles--eventually. No new xbox controller this year then (unless you will buy the new console). Can understand that, no need to rush just to have not fully function gamepad. Just hope 'available in 2014' won't mean the end of 2014
  4. Quite frankly I would love to pull the whole Kinect thing from Xbox1 package off and will pay less instead, I think it is not much of an issue for PS4. I am still the same, although it is a bit tempting to get new console sooner rather than later, to try the new gamepads out But yeah, I will wait as well.
  5. My point of view was that I simply accept tattoos\piercings and it doesn't affect my opinion on people. Whether it professional skills, intellect or something else. Worlds top 50 CEO's, those are just numbers, opinion, like yours, mine or someone else. Statistics which proves only one thing - group of people have something common in mind & opinion to believe. Which doesn't particularly means that this is obvious one and only truth. You see, back in few centuries people strongly believed the world is flat. As we all know, all of them were mistaken. I am not mantain that my opinion are the one & correct though. I just know there are many things around you might not like. You don't really have to. But you may just accept it. Here I finally undertsand what do you mean here. Main priority as others people opinion and what should other cares about you. I think it is just some sort of social slavery where you concerns about what people will think about you so you have to be as normal and as civil as possible (by the society standards). I undertsand that and frankly I will not deny, I still have some issues with that. I still sometimes do cares what people might think of me in some cases. However I do not think this is right. As for doctor having the grim reaper on his arm.. First I wanted to go through my view of modern medicine but then just dropped that idea, ti will cause more distraction and off-topic. So my response that I feel completely fine with that, whether it will be my doctor, or teacher, world scientist, lawyer or even NASA astronaut who will fly me on another planet and who I shall trust my entire life. Arm covered with tattoo means nothing for me, neither the entire body. Unless of course there is some offensive purpose of it. That different. May I ask, if someone who you admire and like or perhaps a friend of yours, will get a tattoo, would you change your opinion about him\her? Will you like that person less? Silly question I know, hope it won't offend you. On the other side, let's imagine one the greatest theoretical physicist, Stephen Hawking, one day will get himslef a tattoo. Sounds extremely ridiculous, but just let's imagine. So will his intellect or abilites decrease? Will the world doubt his knowledge or stop to believe in him? I do not think so. I also doubt he will lose his job or admiration. It's just silly. You comparison on better and advanced job is also pretty relative. For one it might be a good job while for others it will be just huge waste of time. I also think not everytime your promotion depends on your professional qualities, skills or abilites, we all know it. I think I will stop here. You certainly knows where I'm came from haha. I still do agree with you in som cases - I am in no rush to get the tattoo\piercing and if ever will, I will definitely think long & hard enough to make sure I do the right thing (for myself). Damage your body just for the sake of it might be not the best idea, but still if someone decided to go with it - fine by me. I was not really serious about restricting video downloads and force people to post alot for the sake of it. I am pretty much dislike all kind of spam. Was just a bit curious about discussion, I certainly enjoeyd our conversation on Xbox1\PS 4 topic, although not much participants were involved, just you and me basically. But patience is our best friend here. Just need to continue some subjects and one day others might join. What do you mean here by issue?
  6. My first reaction was --> when I saw it on IGN this morning. So.. after long and painful way this is finally good old Xbox with new specs, right? Now just match the price along with PS 4 and you might expect some good Next Gen competiotion. I think it depends on when you going to get it, thus you will compare all the available games & exclusives. Perhaps you already changed your mind and will purcrhase one of the console this year?

  8. Phill worked hard against Celtic. It wasn't his best performance again, but he did very good, won many tackles, avoided silly fouls, good passes. He just need more support up-front, more players in the penalty box. Also I can see he is gathers more confidence, just hope he will not become very selfish. Aspas needs to get more strength and he will be just fine. Thank you amigo, great video!

  10. After keeping an eye for this no doubt quite popular subject of discussion, time has come for me to join and share my thoughts on it. I was thinking from where to start, thus decided to split it my opinion on several parts. Back to my teens age I loved the look of the tattoos, thinking it just so cool & awesome thus you might guess, I thought I will get one in the near future. Some years after I grew up a bit and changed my mind completely. I believed these things nothing like waste of time and cause nothing but spoiling your body, I saw no purpose in such action, which was associated with prison stuff. Cannot say I had hatred for them though. I just disliked them enough. Some more years has passed and yet again my opinion has changed, as I grew up a little bit more. I do not have particular negative feelings by now and quite neutral about body art. Well, I might even like some of the pictures and who knows, one day may get myself one, who knows. I just feel like I accept it and think there is no harm in having a tattoo. That's pretty much my similar view on piercings. Although I remember when I was a kid my mom wanted me to have earring, it was almost an obsession! I never liked that idea and refused it. After few year of persuasions she finally gave up.. However, soon has come that time when I started to like the tattoos and was considering to get that earring haha, because also thought it actually great thing. Although, my view on piercings quite neutral now, I don't really desperate to pierce my body. I just do not like the idea of some items giving me uncomfortable feelings. Yet after all those years I still don't have any tattoos or earrings\piercings and feel pretty good about it. I have some thoughts about tattoos though, but it not going to happen soon. Moving forward.. That's sounds exactly like myself. Apart maybe from jeans & t-shirts, as it usually depends on time of the year and weather. For some reason I refuse to wear any necklaces, perhaps because of the incident back to my childhood. It gives me feeling of suffocation. I also refuse to wear the Cross, not just because I am not into religion. As some people might find it offensive but I just don't understand the idea of wearing the weapon of torture on your neck. Now another subject which got my attention.. Frankly I think it would be quite a discrimination. I know what you mean by prefessional appearance and partially agree, however the truth is, appearances can be deceiving. I also had the chance to hiring people and funny thing is, those having so called professional appearance, caused me more trouble than more casual or unusual looking ones. Thus, if hiring policies would be like that, half of the nowadays footballers (and many others sport people) will be without jobs. Well, nevermind football players, more than half of the population of Planet Earth will be unemployed or forced to look like they do not wish to. As this is football\soccer oriented forums, here is example: Meet Daniel Agger He plays for Liverpool and recenly named new vice-captain of the club. He also captain of his national team (Danmark), one of the best defenders in world football. Very intelligent, calm and footbal wise person, loyalty and honour not just a words for him, his dedication is exceptional. He is a true role model for young players and great example as well. Runs his own foundation to help children. Yet he has lots of tattoos, you can hardly find clean piece of his body. Not really match the 'professional appearance', right? Bot how you will think of him, looking at his body or his deeds? I know, that might be not the best of example and I am a bit of exploits the subject, but this is also good reflection on my view. Now, get back to the subject, I think that the way you think about body art nothing but just matter of taste. There's obviously some thing in your life which some people might dislike as well. That is the way of self expression. In my opinion, most important part of this question is not the tattoo itslef but the content of it. That what I might call professional appearance, thus offensive, discriminational, rude or inappropriate pictures or symbols ain't. I will neither accept nor appreacite them. I think that judge people on what they look like ergo tattoos or piercings, closing etc not the real thing. Good looking human being might be a living devil, while some weird looking man or woman might be the nicest person you'd ever met. @@John Flushing, I might not agree with everything you said here, but I like the way you expressed your point of view. Thank you. Well, this is the soccer\football boards so you might expect that kind of response. Also most of the users here just because of the videos not conversations. Anyway, did you ever think of making this place more discussion oriented? I am not saying to force people make 100 posts before they can download videos or any other limitations (although it might not be that idea), but perhaps move discussion sections up? Make only one section for videos and the rest for discussion ? ps: Man, that took me ~ 2 hours to finish the post..
  11. Haha yeah, exactly! I was so angry, or should better say frustrated about that new console back in the beginning of the summer. Quite weird, because my first impression was pretty positive, but with more details were coming up more my good feelings were becoming the bad ones. But now I calmed down and actually was thinking the same thing - might try to get Xbox1 in the future. But then I did remember about kinect I still waiting for news about separate purchase of the new controller, really want to try it out.
  12. Right, I know what you mean here. I saw this before and indeed, although it is not a big deal but looks a little bit glitchy and odd. So I agree. I feel completely fine with white, don't get me wrong. Still can't get enough of default skin here, haha. So yeah, no rush and no complains really. It just I remember there was one skin with red borders (or what the right word for it ?!) and the one where you can just customize colours. Perhaps something like those, just to have some different look.

  17. Fancy to hear some Celtic music, tunes from the times of King Arthur and The Knights of the Round Table? Well, that is what this music reminds me of. My soundtrack for the past few days!
  18. I don't know yet, Brendan will probably reveal squad soon. However considering Dan just got into full trainnig, I presume more likely no. Game against Celtic will be tough, intense and will be more than just a friendly. Even if Sturridge will travel, he won't play much.
  19. I think it wasn't best Coutinho's game, simply because after what I have seen from the little sorcerer, I will expect wonders from him every single game I know he can do better. Great video nevertheless, love the quality, thank you

  21. Thank you for explanation. May I suggest to add more different colours in the future skins then? I can see dominant white in current ones so it would be nice to have something different in that terms. Or perhaps have one where you can customize your own theme like it was before.

  23. I like the new skin. It looks different, also quite simple. Few changes in the layout, as statictics moved on the right side freeing up the down of the boards. One thing I do not like though is the grey background of the user's profile card. Avatars seems a little bit of the place. I will give that skin a go. Will see whether I will adapt to it or switch back to the basic one which I love. Can I ask a question? Do you make them (skins) by yourself from scratch or they are available for particular version of forums software and then you can modify it the way you like?
