  1. Yeah man, life is good. Just taking it easy this Summer. Won't clog up this thread though.
  2. The BNP. Jordi Alba.
  3. Haha, you may find you that you like it. How have you been anyway pal? Seems like ages since I last had a chat with you.
  4. High School Musical. It's so cheesy, but it's class. I want to be Troy Bolton.
  5. Been watching one movie per night recently. Going The Distance 7/10 - Good film, has it's funny moments. The Social Network 8/10 - Really, really interesting. I didn't think I'll rate it so highly, but the story was fascinating. Sort of made me want to attend Harvard! Despicable Me - 9/10 - This was absolutely brilliant IMO. Really funny movie, and good for adults and kids. Very, very good. The Proposal 7.5/10 - Romantic comedy, but yeah, I liked it. Makes me want to visit Alaska. Agents Of Secret Stuff 7/10 - Just a 30 minute long YouTube movie from Ryan Higa, but for the budget, I thought it was good. Quite funny. The Princess And The Frog 7.5/10 - 2D Disney animation. Brings me back to my childhood. It was never going to be on the same level as The Lion King, but very good nontheless.
  6. I've always loved "Somebody To Love." Just think it's such a great song. There are so many Queen classics that it's hard to pick just one. Apart from the ones already mentioned, I like "Who Wants To Live Forever" and there's also something catchy about "The Invisible Man."
  7. Yeah, I used to watch this. I probably found Jez' stupidity funnier than David, but two great characters. I'd watch it on 4OD if it worked here.
  8. My favourite female is probably Sheryl Crow. So many great songs. Though I like Shania Twain too. Overall favourite would have to Johnny Cash.
  9. Hmmm... I don't think so. I couldn't find any ticket information, so I'm assuming it's all sold out. I like a few of the acts that are nominees, but none of the actual performers really appeal to me! For best female though, I voted Shakira. Love her old Spanish albums.
  10. I haven't seen the nominations or anything, but do you know the venue and the date? I wouldn't mind going, though it's probably all sold out. Edit - Nevermind, found it. 7th of November at La Caja Mágica.
  11. Cidade De Deus/City Of God - 9/10 I was tempted to give it a 10 to be honest. I bought it about a couple of months ago, but only got around to watching it yesterday. Great story, but there are some very sad scenes. Unbelievable that it's based on a true story.
  12. I'd be interested in seeing that, just to see what some of the leaders have to say. Chavez is quite an interesting character, and I'm not quite sure what to make of him. He has his own TV show, and once it lasted 8 hours and 15 minutes without a break. Makes me wonder whether any Venezuelans actually bothered watching it! In the news recently, there has been quite a lot about Colombia's relationship with Venezuela, with Chavez claiming that Colombia are readying to attack them. Which I find very hard to believe... Another thing which has been in the news a lot which has interested me is Arizona's attempt at bringing in an immigration law, which to me anyway seemed very racist. Thankfully the US federal government blocked some of the more extreme parts of the law. Unfortunately, I've haven't had the opportunity to visit South America yet, but it's somewhere that I'd definitely like to visit.
  13. Just got back after seeing Toy Story 3. Superb. 10/10. I wanted it to go on for longer! Thought it was very funny and had a great story. I want to see it again...
  14. Maybe you would like it, but it wasn't exactly my cup of tea. Lots of guns, drugs, cursing, gangsters. The story wasn't terrible, but I was never that excited during the movie.
  15. I actually tried to see Inception last night, but it was sold out, so I was quite disappointed. Still want to see it sometime. I ended up seeing Brooklyn's Finest, which wasn't great. I actually left the cinema quite depressed. 6/10
  16. Yeah, that's the one. I saw it in the cinema a few years ago, and I thought it was amazing then. Maybe not the same on TV. And I saw Deep Blue Sea years ago and loved it! Though I guess I was quite easily impressed back then.
  17. Price Of Persia: Sands Of Time 8/10 - I wasn't expecting much, but I actually really enjoyed it. I was falling asleep at the start, but I think that was due to my tiredness, rather than the quality of the film! Just noticed that Cloverfield is on Channel 4 tonight. Has anyone seen it? And what did you think of it?
  18. Haha, yeah you're right. I've seen it twice, and on watching it the second time, all I could think was, "How did I not realise this the first time?"
  19. Hope I'm not ruining this thread by doing one more than one film. I've been to the cinema quite regularly in recent weeks. Shutter Island - 9/10 - Was on the edge of my seat throughout. Really really enjoyed this from start to finish. Kick Ass - 8/10 The Blind Side 9/10 Invictus 9/10 How To Train Your Dragon 8/10 The Green Zone 6/10
