I don't know what ever caused me to stop playing any kind of racing games. I had a fairly decent collection of them back on the Playstation 1. Sometime between that and my Xbox I just stopped. I think I have like 1 race type game on Xbox and not a single one on Xbox360.

Can't say I'd want to be riding a motorcycle in freezing weather anyhow. I just go out and start my car 10-15 minutes before I'm going to leave and crank the heat up. If it doesn't melt all the ice from the windows it usually loosens it up so there isn't as much scraping to do.

I'll give that a rental soon then. There hasn't been much else exciting lately so I've mostly just been catching up on some tv seasons.

The Kings Speech:
One of the best movies I've ever seen. I don't think there was one moment when I was bored throughout the movie. Great story line, concept (know concept doesn't really count if it's a true story but still) and the actors and the roles the played were superb. It was really brought together nicely as well. 9/10
The Craigs List Killer:
Complete and utter shit. In fact, It's probably the worst movie I've ever seen. The whole thing wasn't pulled off that well at all. 0.5/10
Guess I might have to give The Kings Speech another look. When I originally heard of it I blew it off because I didn't figure it would be that interesting. Craigs List Killer: never even heard of it. And based on that kind of review, I don't think I will ever bother to find out more.

Applied fix for the "Activity in my followed topics" block that appears on the main forum page. Tracked topics now link correctly to the topic instead of the board main page, and topics you were the last to post in will no longer be shown.

No good for me. I play on xbox.

I am at a friends where one of the guys is playing it right now. Not a game for me though. I don't go for the deep rpgs. 90% of the time I am playing a shooter. I also occasionally play Action/adventure titles like Uncharted.

Wait, there's a campaign?
I always do that. I end up jumping right into the online play and it's usually a couple of weeks before I remember to go back and play the actual game.

Seeing as there is a renewed interested in making/sharing of graphics, I have reopened the Graphics forum. Topics are a bit dated right now but I suspect it won't take long to get a bit of new material up.

You guys are lucky that you have either ps3 or xbox or both
My friend showed me this game and I googled it up for checking whether there was a pc version but unfortunately its a ps3 exclusive. I would probably consider a ps3 in the future but right now I ll be content with my pc gaming.
Lucky maybe, but at the same time I could say the same thing about your PC being a games machine. I used to love playing RTS games on PC. Sadly my PC hasn't been capable in quite a while.

It is games like this that make the system worth having. I am generally an xbox player, but keep both systems around for console exclusives.

Not a huge Paul Walker fan but I did enjoy the fast and furious movies.

Oh I'm resting all right. But I still have to keep an occasional eye on the place. Mostly just been watching tv in between periods of sleep. Hopefully I'm well by the time my new games arrive in the post.

Yeah it does look amazing. I seen it during Amazon's Black Friday sales for only $30 too, but I had already bought Battlefield 3 and I have to save some money yet for Christmas.
The first two games are among my PS3 collection for sure and I will get this eventually, probably after the holidays.
-
Seems my wait was worth it. Picked up BF3 for $28 this morning, and all I have to do was be patient and wait a couple of weeks for the sale.

Almost the opposite here. The cars moving normally most of the time and nuts on motorcycles doing way above the speed limits and swerving through traffic. I live within eyesight of a highway and you can always see them at night heading down the road like doing like 90-100mph.

Horrible holiday drivers. I felt like I was on a high speed obstacle course all day today.

Not the best for sure, but the first that came to mind was Paris Hilton in House of Wax. I think there was just something pleasing about someone putting a metal pipe through her head. Around the 4 minute mark.

Classic.
Makes me remember the old SP.
Yep, I named it after you.
Yeah, this makes me think of Soccerpulse, which I like
good job
It seems to be a good reason to have a skin like this. Nostalgia, I suppose, but this has been the most requested type of skin. I figured I might as well give everyone what they wanted.
-
Today is the launch of our newest skin, Classic. Classic is a theme that is a bit more basic than our last skin, Create, but it is also a bit more clear where some functions are concerned. The skin was previewed on our Facebook page about a week ago while still being edited, though only a few minor things still had to be changed since that time.
In addition to being a revival of the red/grey found in our original SS 1.1, it will also be the replacement for that theme. As I announced back in August I would eventually be ending support of and removing SS 1.1. Hopefully this is an acceptable alternative.
Let me know what you think, and as always let me know if you find any bugs I missed in testing.

Well I'm up for giving them one more chance to get it right. If not I have plans to move the site to somewhere I have more control over the system.

A sudden decision was made by our host to move to a new provider. Sometime in the next couple of days SoccerShouts will be moved as well. Due to the move, the sites IP address will change. We will try to make these changes as quickly as possible, but once the new IP addresses are entered it may take some time (hours) before everyone will be being pointed to the correct location.
As such, there's really going to be 2 SoccerShouts for a brief while. Some posts/registrations may be lost if they are made between the time the site is moved to the new server and the time it takes for the DNS to update and point to the new server. The alternative is to put the site into offline mode until the move is finished and I'd rather not restrict the site.

The scheduled maintenance for Nov. 13 has been completed. The maintenance caused a full outage rather than the 30-60 second access delays that were anticipated, but at least we knew this was coming. Our host is currently discussing the possibility of moving to a new data center, which may cause another planned outage. I will be sure to announce anything I am made aware of.

I played quite a bit of burnout and Need for Speed. Now I just play shooters with some adventure/action-RPG on occasion.
