  1. Songs that you find annoying. What songs do you really hate? I can't stand: Sex on fire by Kings of Leon. I hate his voice, sorry. Lyrics are even worse. And Telephone by Lady Gaga. This sums it up
  2. So have you seen it? What are your thoughts on the movie? These clips still make me laugh.
  3. Toy Story 3. I came back home late yesterday, totally exhausted, and my dear friend was waiting for me with a dvd copy of Toy Story 3. When the first Toy Story came out in 1995, I was only six years old. For any person that grew up along these movies, it is impossible not to feel moved by this part. It made me smile, laugh and cry. Unbelievable. It is another huge Pixar success. Stunning animation, great action and fantastic comedy. It reminds you of being a kid and reminds that is fine to grow up. Great finish to an amazing series.
  4. I read the book and found it pretty good. Well written but I had a feeling that it was highly based on stereotypes. And I fear that it may be difficult to translate this book into a Hollywood film.
  5. So have you played the demo yet? The full version of FM11 is still set for release on November 5.
  6. I was playing for fun with my friend. I like the game but I officially hate Monaco, it's freaking tough. I'm exhausted

  8. Inception What a beautiful story. The ending of this film is pure catharsis. There are certain questions which can never be answer. Is he still dreaming or not? There is evidence for both sides, but nowhere near enough to be conclusive either way and I love it. I hope Nolan never clarifies it.
  9. I do. I find it to be very relaxing. Moreover, my friend plays piano and I love listening to him. I like Mozart and Chopin. Ballade No. 4 In F Minor is amazing.
  10. The Departed I am not a fan of Scorsese, but I have to admit: this movie is great. A terrific storyline, Leonardo’s acting is better than anyone else. I have to say he has been smart with his movie choices recently. Moreover: slick action, clever dialogues and the build-up of this movie is brilliant. And I love the yellow envelope
  11. Electronic music is The Knife for me. Classic. Or The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Fatboy Slim or Moby. You can't beat that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7Ky5R-vxns
  12. Love The Shins, Garden State, Zach Braff and Natalie Portman
  13. Sadly, Alice is not even close to his best work. I was slightly disappointing. It didn't reach its full potential. I remember the original as being more adventurous and scary. And the 3D experience was awful. I pretty much saw one or two objects in 3D. So it was pretty dissapointing for me.
  14. Tim Burton is one of my favourite directors. I've seen every single movie he's directed since Pee-wee's Big Adventure. And they've all been great. I just love his style. Edward Scissorhands, Batman Returns, Beetle Juice, Sleepy Hollow, Big Fish, Sweeney Todd, Ed Wood, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory are masterpieces.
  15. I'll definitely take a look, thanks. Cheers :)

  16. The Graduate - one of the best soundtracks I've heard. Kill Bill is classic. And 500 Days of Summer is possibly one of the best soundtracks since Garden State. Closer - magical from start to finish. Newman's score for American Beauty is perfect.

  18. Haha, shame on you Avatar! It was just good for the special effects but the story was lousy. The "Hurt Locker" walked away with six statues including Best Picture and Best Director for Cameron's ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow. This is pure madness, haha. The first time a woman has won in that category! Get in! But I'm so happy for Up, great film, it touched adults and children, something that is incredibly difficult to do. .
  19. Let's talk about Radiohead and vote for their best album
  20. No, but I visit my brother in Oxford from time to time. Why?
