What is the best song of 2010 according to your opinion?Share your fave song..I don`t have particular favorite to be honest, I like some hip hop songs or Taylor Swift stuff, but too much hip hop in 2010.

As predicted, this movie finally won the best movie in Academy Awards, with Colin firth won as the best actor. It is based on true story how King George overcame his stammering problem when speaking in public..I want to see it..as most of you are from the UK, i would like to know your opinion about this movie, maybe you have seen this movie?What`s your opinion?please share..thank you

One of the world`s greatest rock bands is, of course, Def Leppard. I have been a big fan since I was 13, and it was my first time to see his clip"Rocket"on TV, and while we were watching, suddenly my older sister, who actually is not a big fan of heavy metal said"Oh, GOD, the vocalist ( before we knew the name is Joe Elliott) is so damn HOT!!:". Well, he is .And it was the first time for me to see a drummer playing with only one hand ( Rick Allen) and the story gives us motivation that NO MATTER how hard the situation is, we must do our best and never give up. I just bought their best CD and its new album, sparkle Lounge. Well, it is good, but we can`t compare their music now and their achievement in 80s something. They are also not overexposed in their personal life, so far I know. I like"Let`s Get rocked" ( it makes me more motivated to do something)," Pour Some Sugar on Me", "women","Photograph", ( makes me feel a little bit sexier), "Have you ever needed someone so bad", "Two Steps Behind", and others. My sister likes"Love Bites". what are your fave Lep`s songs?Please share..thank you

They are headlining Download Festival (Donington) again this year ( June 10-12,2011) then they are heading for the US tour with HEART. In 2009,they were on the main stage too on Download

Who do you think will win Grammy?There are Lady Antebellum, JB, Lady Ga2, Miranda Lambert and for Rock mostly old-cracks like Clapton, Robert Plant i forgot the detail the category. Even I am not familiar with some rock album nominated like new album from pearl jam, Alice In Chain..

Do you like jazz? I like jazz even though sometimes I am not that familiar with the artists. I like Jamie Cullum. The way he plays piano, sings and acts ooohhhh....amazing! I also enjoy listening to some old stuff like Anita Baker, Patti Austin. Who`s you favorite jazz performers?

Personally, I love the late Freddie Mercuri`s voice. Nobody can sing like he sang. The voice is powerful, with clear articulation. I also like Steven Tyler,David Coverdale, Eric Martin ( so soulful) and husky voice of Def Leppard`s Joe Elliott. For new generation, I like Daughtry. Who are you fave rock vocalists?

And I think your opinion is true. According to a music magazine, despite being non-active for long time and his controversial lifestyle, Axl Rose is the best vocalist of all time, then the late Freddie Mercurie and RJ Dio, then Dickinson.

I think there are some good bands who create great songs, but they suddenly split for some reasons. TO be honest, I never forget Damn Yankees. Most of them are already famous before the band was formed ( Tommy Shaw ( Styx), Jack Blades ( Night Ranger) ,Ted Nugent...oh..what a guitarist!I admire him for his no-drug and alcohol lifestyle and his activity to raise awareness of the danger of drugs and alcohol)) and their single"High Enough"is one of the best songs I like. Their second album was good and it didn`t gain more success as the first album. Then Blades and Shaw formed Shaw and Blades and I remember the visited Jakarta, collaborating with some of our musicians and Scorpions, wow, that`s awesome!!Blades sang"Sister Christian"but before that he joked and acted pretend as if he forgot the song. They are very nice and humble. So sad to see that kind of great talents decide not to make album again. We want those kinds of talents again. You can name groups that should`ve stayed together but in fact they split?Feel free to share..

Who do you think the best drummer is?I like the way Rikki rocket ( Poison) plays, and also former GNR drumeer, Steven Adler. Alex ( Van Halen) is also cool...please share your opinion about the best drummer.Thank you

Any opinion? For blues, of course, I love the way Sir Eric plays ( and sings as well). For rock, I like Steve Vai, Joe Perry, Paul Gilbert and Slash. Any other opinion?share please..

One more, Ted Nugent!I admire his skill and his commitment to give advocacy about the danger of doing drugs. Despite his controversy in his opinion about gun ownership rights and political right wing, he is one of the greatest guitarist and a model of rocker with clean and healthy lifestyle.

I don`t know why, but I couldn`t click my activation link after I signed up . So I can`t listen to the songs being played. However, I sometimes read the news there about the latest your update and so on. There is a biography section about bands/musician and those who already passed away, very complete.

U2 is undoubtedly one of the greatest band of all time, not only for this music, but for their commitment and willingness to embrace the world`s leaders to help fight poverty and reduce climate change ( I read in a newspaper, that the difference between the late John Lennon and Bono is Lennon is a rebel ( for denouncing Vietnam War and he was banned from entering the US, while Bono is not). The first U2 songs I heard on the radio were Desire and In the name of Love. It gives me a goosebumps!I also like"One","Mysterious Way","Stay" and my most fave song is"All I want Is You". My sister is a fan of U2, but she is not that familiar with U2`s new stuff. The selling of U2`s last two albums may not be that good ( compared to Ga ga and JB :eyepop: ), in 2009, U2 was the mos successful band in world tour. What`s you fave U2 song?C`mon share with us

Who`s your fave American Idol?Sometimes, the finalists are even more popular, just look at Jennifer Hudson, who successfully has music and film career, Daughtry who is pretty successful with his two albums. My fave actually is Daughtry. His music and lyric are great. He is also cool family man. I also like David Cook, Kelly Clarkson and Jen. Carrie is also good, but I don`t know much about her songs. Kelly performed in Jakarta several months ago and it was great!

Carlos Santana is undoubtedly öne of the best guitarist of all time. He combines rock with Latin elements,which is cool.On his latest album, he collaBorated with some great vocalists,from the veteran Joe Cocker to American Idol finalist DaugHtry.They sing clasSic stuff,from the Beatles While My guitar gently weepS<India Arie and cello player Yo yo Ma>,Pat Monahan with old VH Dance the ni9ht away,DaugHtry with DeF LepPard's Photograph,LP's Chester with RidErS on a storm,The doorS stuff, i think.What surPrises me is the fact that it's very hard to get the CD,it was sold ouT on the firSt week.I think young generation is curious in listening the old rock song popular before they were born,maybe.have u listened to Santana's verSion of those clasSic rock songs?please discusS it here,thank u

I think music in the era of 2000s was dominated by some boy bands and hip hop,right?I like some of them, despite being a fan of rock music too. But it`s different if we compare music to this decade to that of 80-90s and 90s. What do you think the best album and groups of the decade (2000-2010)?I think Linkin Park is one of the best groups in 2000s. Album...still have no idea yet which one. C`mon share with us

I will be watching the replay if i am not too sleepy. Again, JB and Ga2 dominated the awards. JB won 4, if i am not mistaken, Ga ga won the best female, for group BEP won. What do you think of these two stars ( JB and Lady Ga ga) domination?Even in Black Music Awards, JB is nominated!!!

Well, we live in a different era. We can`t compare music in 70,s 80, and 90s to that in this technology era. I like some new stuff as well, but every time I watch music video of 80s and 90s music, I sy to myself,"OMG, this kind of music will never be back again". Great voices like Whitney,Tina Turner, MJ, Stevie Wonder etc, great groups like Duran duran, QUEEN, Genesis, U2, Def Leppard, The Bangles will never be back again.

QUEEN is no doubt one of the most influential groups in 80s. When I was kid, I was familiar with songs like Radio Gaga, I want to break free, We are the champions, We will rock you..I love seeing their live performance, and the late Freddie Mercurie was soooo....HOT!!He is such an attractive performers, with great and powerful voice. What are you fave QUEEN`s songs?Besides those songs mentioned, I like"Don`t Stop Me Now","Tie your Mother Down", "Another One bites a Dust", and"Somebody to love", "Love of MY life". I remember seeing Tribute to Freddie ( 1992) from DVD, Metallica, Extreme, Def Leppard, Guns, Lisa Stansfield...It was totally great!!

Have you seen the movie yet?As Indonesian, I feel so proud to see Bali in Hollywood movie. the story...well...maybe we have experienced that moment...you have everything, but suddenly you get stucked and bored with your routines and you want to explore something.

Well, it` s not that easy to transform what`s in the book into the movie.There might be some missing links/points.

Unfortunately, Cliff was dead. I am not that familiar with Dio`s hits. My ideal vocalist is David Coverdale/ steven Tyler, with Kirk Hammet/Slash/Joe Perry as guitarist, Billy Sheehan as bassist and drummer...Roger Taylor ( QUEEN). Any other ideas?
