  1. There are some not-so-new stuffs that I also like, like"Long, Long Way To Go ( from their"X"album, wonderful ballad and deep lyric),Promises, Goodbye. To be honest I didn`t remember a lot tracks from Euphoria and X albums until I heard from my friend MP3. But in my opinion, Hysteria and Adrenalize are their best albums
  2. A, ha EMINEM!!!one of my colleagues is playing EMINEM now..I like EMINEM, but haven`t heard about his latest album and hits. But I saw him performing on Grammy with Drake and other singers( forgot the names) and it was great!
  3. Unfortunately, Eminem didn`t win for the best male at MTVEMA 2010 in Madrid, Spain last Monday. but I like"Love the Way you Lie". hear it quite often on the radio many times..
  4. Totally agree!!No matter whether we like jazz, pop or heavy metal, only 2 can unite us in 80s: MJ and QUEEN. Generally, those old music are more long lasting, right? Not all people can sing like Freddie.
  5. I look forward to MTV Europe Music Awards 2010 in Madrid, Spain. There will be live report from MTVAsia too..Who is you fave?ANyone can vote for all categories, except best video. for song, I like'Love The Way You Lie'(Eminem fet.Rihanna), best rock I voted for 30 seconds to Mars, best new act I loveeeeee....KEISHA..best live act..I think Bon Jovi still rocks!! :cooltext: SHare your prediction please...
  6. As predicted, Justin Beiber and Ga ga dominated. I don`t know WHYYYYYYY must be those people!!But I love Keisha, and she won the best new act, and 30 seconds to Mars won the best rock, Linkin won the best live, Bon Jovi won the Global Icon and Shakira won Free Your Mind Awards. I like seeing Bon Jovi again, it reminds me of 1995, when they performed in Jakarta.
  7. We`re gonna leave the first decade on 2000, so soon. So many things we remember, and maybe you have opinions about the best moment in music of the first decade of 2000?To me...Dixie chicks won 5 grammies despite Bush`s boycott and Taylor Swift, John Mayer rising popularity.
  8. Every time I see the big DD poster, it reminded me of the old days, when my sister and I were about teenage. Mysister have DVD LIVE IN ARENA, during DD tour in USA in 1984, and oh it is so amazing...I was wondering maybe one of you know whether DD has the latest album?and what`s you favorite DD songs?I like almost all of the songs...the reflex, save the prayer ( my sister loves that song a lot), new moon on Monday, Careless Memories, Planet Earth etc
  9. Ah yes..!!Eddie Van Halen, Kirk Hammet, Nuno Bettencourt, Brian May, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Angus Young..I like seeing how Angus plays on stage. and one name that mustn`be left out: Keith Richard
  10. I like Numb, Somewhere I belong, What I`ve done, Hands held high, Crawling.
  11. Myles Kennedy performed in Jakarta last August with Slash during their world tour. I am not that really familiar with new rock stuff, but his voice is cool! Daughtry`s voice is also great, I have like him since he was finalist in American Idol 2006. He now gains international popularity, he already performed in Jakarta twice and during F1 Singapore.
  12. I like The Cosby Show and Growing Pain,. Family ties and Who`s the boss are also good. Missed that era
  13. Despite being a hard rock fan, I also like country music, besides pop, rock, R n B. I usually listen to female performers like Shania Twain ( she`s so beautiful and down to earth, in my opinion), Martina McBride ( My Valentine-ooohhh....so romantic!), Faith Hill, and Dixie Chicks. I got goosebumps when listening to'Not Ready To MAke it Nice'. George Bush boycotted Dixie Chick after its vocalist, Nathalie, cricized Bush`s war against terror, and after that Dixie Chick was nominated for 5 grammys and they won all!!Who`s your fave country performers? For younger generation, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift are good..
  14. Yes, I like Taylor Swift. She is such a humble and not so overexposed. She has a new album, right?Speak Now, if i am not mistaken. I like seeing her duet with Def Leppard ( Country Music Awards 2009), which is also my favorite rock band. What is you fave Taylor`s songs?I like'Fearless', 'love story','You belong with me' and'Fifteen'. Some new tracks are also good.
  15. Waka waka Shakira. From children to adults really love that song, even my nephew sings it almost all the time. MTV EMA is broadcast live by MTVAsia too. :cooltext:
  16. SO are you going there?who`s your fave act?
  17. Love songs never die. My favorite love songs from 80s are "Can`t fight this feeling ( REO Speedwagon),Say you say me ( Lionel Richie-my sister is also a big fan of him!), "Separate Lives" ( Phil Collins and Marlee MAtlin-reminds me of my past relationship)and well many more, I think. Into Deep from Genesis is also one of my favorite as well as"Saving All My Love For you" ( Whtiney Houston). What is your fave love songs from the 80s?thank you
  18. I miss the great moments of the 80s!!!Especially after listening to some 80s rock stuff in a marketing room at my office. There won`t be another great music again.I love R&B and new generation of rocks like Linkin Park, Simple Plan etc, but 80s was different. Which rock band was the best in the 80s?I like Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Guns n Roses and Van Halen ( and oh Bon Jovi of course. I saw the concert in Jakarta in 1995, but missed Def Leppard a year later). I still love watching some old Def Lep`s video ( when the guitarist Steve Clark was still alive) like"Hysteria","Rocket" ( the first DL video I watched on TV) and so on. Aerosmith is no doubt one of the legends...I like"Angel","Dude Looks Like a Lady","Janie`s Got a Gun". But those bands are not that successful when making music in 2000s. Share you thoughts about which rock band was the best in the 80s.Thank you
  19. Yeah, I also like Foreigner..and don`t forget about AC/DC and some progressive music like Genesis, The Police, Queen!! there will be no more like them right now...different era.
  20. I used to, but not too often now. I like crossover classical music, like Maxim, BOND, Vanessa Mae. I also like semi-classic/piano instrumental like Clayderman ( I took piano course too, and I miss the moment I was playing as I don`t have enough time to practice again).
  21. DLR n Sammy are great vocalist, hard to choose, but DLR`s voice is more powerful. I don`t know whether VH has a new album after Gary Cherone became a vocalist. Yeah, Aerosmith, even I still keep their biography!!Aerosmith is a band for 4 decades...
  22. Already seen Eminem feat.Rihanna, but this is COOL!!!
