  1. Seems an interesting final. Netherlands did the best in all matches in my opinion and they have good tactics with Van Marvijk. Their centre backs are the real weakness and this problem maybe get worst against strikers like David Villa and midfield with a controling pace. Although, they can use Kuyt and Robben to penetrate behind the full backs and make good crosses to Van Persie or pass the ball to Sneijder. Spain did a good job against Germany and they show the world some of their way of playing football they did in Euro 08.

Also it will be a notable challenge between two Arsenal Players - Van Persie and Cesc - despite we didn't see Fabregas playing regularly with Del Bosque.

  2. But would you seriously give England a better chance of winning in four years time? Because I wouldn't. The current crop of players will be four years older and there doesn't seem to be an awful lot coming through to replace them.

Sorry for my late reply =)

Yes, you're right maybe it was the best chance to win this. But in addition to defencive proplems, you saw England attacking movements in the second half. Simply = 0. Rooney and Heskey did nothing in all matches too. The midfield didn't have the energy like Germany. Even if England qualified for the quarter final or the semi final, They will face tough challange all the way and I don't see they could do anything with that way of playing.

  3. the dutch remain their undefeated streak and reached the quarter-final. they played a good game but we didn't see them playing their total-football till now. i don't know but i think van marwijk is aiming to reach the cup with any possible option.

  4. england didn't play the best in the world cup and we all saw that bad way of defending against germany, especially in counter-attacks. germans are vicious when they keep the ball and they are always scoring goals in crucial moments. england have to wait another 4 years
