Soccerpulse veterans check in thread

14 posts in this topic

I've noticed recently that there has been some members joining us from the original SP, so i thought why not have a thread where ex SP members can reconnect with each other :).

I'm a new generation SS member i wasn't on the old SP, i know hell of a lot about it though, i visited it a few times before it shutdown i just wasnt active haha, i know a lot about its history though from working with Bill (frstplce who ran SP alongside Christoval) who created what we have today :) hopefully getting to know some of the old characters will be cool.

Come on guys dont be shy :D

I wonder how many of us have grown up on these boards over the years. SP started in 2002. It was early May and I was just about to turn 19 at the end of the month. Now I'm old, SP is gone and SoccerShouts is here, but we're still doing this stuff.

At least back then you would have been able to register. Thanks to newer child protection laws we don't register users who declare their age under 13. We could bother with processing parental consent forms by mail or fax but it's seriously not worth the effort.

Besides that, I can honestly say I've never even used a fax machine. I have no intention to start now.
