Chelsea Vs Arsenal Preview

Arsenal will be looking to maintain their great current form of 6 wins in the past 7 games when they come up against London rivals Chelsea FC this Saturday at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea on the other hand will be looking are to comeback hard after failing to gain any points in their last outing against Premier League new comers Queens Park Rangers (their team was reduced to 9 men and lost the game 1-0, thanks to a penalty kick from Helguson).

Chelsea:
Chelsea will be coming into this game without both Didier Drogba and Jose Bosingwa after both received straight reds in their last match against QPR (Drogba's a reckless challenge and Bosingwa's a last man back foul) but are welcoming back 50 million dollar striker Fernando Torres after serving his own 3 match ban for his reckless challenge against Swansea. Chelsea captain John Terry is expected to play despite racial abuse allegations stemming from QPR's Anton Ferdinand.

Fernando Torres
Torres will coming back after serving his 3 match suspension for a reckless challenge against Swansea and with Didier Drogba now set to spend his time on the sidelines, Chelsea will be looking to Torres for inspiration in front of goal.

Arsenal:
Arsenal are coming into the game with the huge boost of having Belgium national team captain Thomas Vermaelen back from injury. Vermaelen, who recently signed a new 4 year contract with the club, captained Arsenal against Bolton Wanderers in Tuesday night's 2-1 Carling Cup win and is expected to get over a calf strain in time to play against the Blues.

Robin Van Persie
If there's one person Arsene Wenger doesn't want to see get injured this season, it's Robin Van Perfect Persie. His form is absolutely outstanding coming into this game (7 goals in the past 9 league games) and has been carrying Arsenal this season. If Arsenal are to succeed in this game, they're going to need another inspired Van Persie performance.
