Italy, France and England played poorly in the last 2010 World Cup, despite their reputation as European soccer powers. Now they are preparing for EURO 2012 qualification and besides new coaches for France and Italy, those countries are also trying to find new blood to boost their performance. Teams like Italy and France rely on old men too much, like what we saw on the last Cup. Now they have young players and those players of course, try their best to lift up their national team reputation. Italy now has Balloteli, and some names like Marco Motta, Bonnuci ( I am not that familiar with the last two names), and England has Joe Hart, City GK who performed brilliantly at the EPL City`s opening match, and Theo Walcott, France has Adil Rami, Jeremy Menez and others to show after their seniors were given a ban. What do you think of these players? how sure are you that they can do show their best for their national team? We hope there will be new stars in Euro 2012

Jordi Alba impressed me. I saw him playing against Chelsea in the final group game and he looked a pretty good attacking LB.

But Mario Gotze is the player I ll be looking forward in the Euros next summer.

It's a very big chance that the 19 year old of Feyenoord (loan from City) will be picked in this tournament. In his 10 games as a starter, he has scored 11 goals. So I believe you should get your eyes on this guy :) I've actually made a video myself of him, which is up at the Video Compilations thread, go check it out if you haven't seen it!

Oh, hehe forgot to mention his name, It's John Guidetti :)

I just read about Guidetti  is he a striker or a winger? Do you think he'll start alongside Ibra or will Ola get the start?

He primarily plays as a striker, at the moment he has scored 14 goals in 13 games for his Feyenoord. I don't believe that Guidetti will get a spot in the starting line-up, since he has to less rutine, I mean he is only 19 years old and have never played a game with the nationalteam yet. So I believe that he will start on the bench and we will see from there. I'm very certain he will get some play-time though.

I think it's time for Hamrén to bring him into the squad. I mean, he has already proven that he's good. Imo, he's better than many players in the Swedish squad, and as you said. 14 goals on 13 games is outstanding for a 19-year old.

Honestly i just want another striker next to Zlatan who can score goals consistently. Im a big Ibra fan and i want him to have a huge Euro. I feel like he gets too much flack from the English media, and i would love for him to drop a double on them and knock them out of the Euro. But they would still say that he isnt a big time player.smh
