Apart from the RM position where Beckham , Ronaldo might have been considered ahead of Juninho especially when you are a United fan I'd say a pretty good team.

I agree with you there and thought of putting them in. If you ask me, I will have a long list of dream team from my lifetime! LOL!

how about htis for size:
--- David James ---
Roque Junior --- Titus Bramble (Oleg Luhzny) --- Michal Proctor [captain] --- Pascal Cygan (Philipe Senderos)
---Eirc Djembe-Djembe (David Bellion) --- Thomas Gravesen --- Quinton Fortune
--- Francis Jeffers (Djimi Traore) --- Emile Heskey --- Darius Vassel (Helder Postiga)
Manager: Mick MCCathy (2003, 19 points = classic!!!)
okay... maybe not...
then how about:
Dream Team
Schmeichal (GK) - changed the way the position of Goal Keeper was played. Epic penalty save against Arsenal in the 1999 FA Cup
Maldini (LB) 24 years in the game and countless UCL medals. Even Captained his country proudly and was very reliable.
Lucio (CB) I didn't actually have any great first choice here so went with one of the few decent players in Brasils present squad of jokes.
Zanetti (RB) - torn between him and Barcelona's "boy", but I prefer the pacy Captain of Inter who could cross and attack as well as Cafu
Essein (DM) - before his injury, his record in Chelsea was unbelievably effective. Could silence any attacker and capable of rescuing teams Davids (RM) - I would like a tough tackler to pair up with Essein, in case they get away on the turn. Impressive in WC 98 v Brasil and also against Juventus in the 2003 Champions League. Nice impact for his half season in Barcelona.
Redondo (DM) - a fluid one-touch passer, and elegent, yet deep-lying playmaker. Provides effective cover and a space-conscious outlet for when in tight positions. Also capable of drifting on to the left or right of midfield, to drive an attack from the flanks
Riquelme (AM) - another Argentianian, able to dictate tempo, control pace and enable his team to dominate possession. Competent in tight spaces and can surpose opponents with his strength, skill and shielding.
Denilson (WF) - the star player of the team. He would have licence to roam. Ineffective against France in the 98 Final, however, the potential he had to be great still set a precedent in football. The iconic man that has been idolised, if not only forgotten.
Ronaldo (FW) - need I say more. He was capable of engineering magic.
Rivaldo (FW) - was the player of the tournmanet during the America, and joint top scorer with Ronaldo at the WC. WPY 1999
Davids - Deco: when legs are tired, I would put hits tricky playmaker on to toy with defences and unlock key passes [however, having thought about this, I might just prefer the English Class of Paul Scholes.]
Riquelme - Bergkamp: Although Bergkamp was a favourite, with his sublime touch and exquisite skill, I only put on Riquelme to slow down the tempo of the game and release wingers. (I imagine Bergkamp would pair up effectively with the Argentinians, J. Zanetti and Redondo)
Schmeichal - Niemi: Was outstanding at Southampton, with incredible reflexes and presence. Preferred him to Cudicini and Given
Denilson - Hleb: Impressive classic dribbler with a burst of pace and very fluid feet. Useful to scrap out a game and liked his style.
